Christine Quintana
Perinatal and Eating Disorder Therapist
Hi there, my name is Christine Quintana!
I’m a wife, mom, animal lover, plant lover, and always enjoy a good creative outlet. I’m also a Licensed Professional Counselor and grateful owner of MamaBloom Counseling.
My passion is to support women through pregnancy, motherhood, grieving the loss of a pregnancy, building a healthy relationship with food and improving body image in any stage of your life. You deserve to experience joy and meaning in all areas of your life, I’d love to support you in that journey!
How my passion developed
Becoming a mom has been one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. It also turned my world into an unpredictable and emotional roller coaster!
After each pregnancy, I felt so different and just wanted to feel like ME again.
Every time I started to feel more like me, something else would happen. I needed to find myself again, grow into who I wanted to be, and find meaning for unimaginable loss. I’ve learned that I can’t always prepare for what lies ahead of me, but connecting to what truly is important to my heart and intentionally practicing these values has brought me connection, meaning, and peace into my life.
For me to live a more meaningful life, I had to realize what was blocking me from doing that.
Why wasn’t I giving myself the grace I would easily give to a loved one? Why am I constantly worrying about doing things the “right” way and comparing to others? Is all the pressure I put on myself really going to matter at the end of my life? Why am I feeling guilty for something I would tell someone else not to feel guilty about? We are all doing the best we can as a mom. It’s SO hard not to be critical of ourselves, but is it helping? Or is it hurting us?
You are not alone mama.
There are so many of us out there, silent in our words around how we are really feeling inside and what we are going through. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you can live a fulfilling, meaningful life again or even starting now.
You are good enough and worthy of time and space to make yourself a priority again.
How I live out my passion as a therapist
I want moms to know that despite any feeling, thought, or situation you experience, even though sometimes it feels SO hard and impossible to get through, what you are feeling is okay and you can get through this.
I am here to support you through all the obstacles in motherhood and guide you to live an intention-filled, meaningful life for yourself and your family.
