There are no words…
There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss and any traumatic experience you may have encountered during your pregnancy loss. My heart aches for what you are going through right now. Whatever you are feeling right now, it’s okay to feel, even though you may wish you never had to experience such a difficult loss to begin with.
Unfortunately, so many other women experience pregnancy loss and don’t talk about it. Keeping those feelings and experiences inside may make you feel hopeless, confused, shocked, shameful, depressed, worried, and even apathetic.
Pregnancy loss occurs in up to 1 in every 4 pregnancies.
It is important to acknowledge, process, and get the support you need. I am here to listen, understand, and support you in processing your recent loss. My goal is to help you live your life again while still honoring your feelings around the loss. You don’t have to keep it in anymore, I am here to listen.
I Experienced My Own Pregnancy Loss…
During my third pregnancy, I experienced my own pregnancy loss… an ectopic pregnancy. I was thrilled to be pregnant until at about 8 weeks, I was rushed to the hospital to receive emergency surgery. The emotional and physical healing after my loss has been one of the hardest things I’ve gone through. You are not alone and I know how hard pregnancy loss can be. Since then, it has become a passion of mine to support other mom’s to process and heal from their pain and traumas around pregnancy loss.
In addition to my personal experience with pregnancy loss, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). If you feel you’ve experienced a traumatic event around the pregnancy loss, EMDR may be an option to help relieve trauma symptoms.
