I am SO glad you are here mama! Read on to see if my counseling services for perinatal anxiety and depression might help you.
You thought pregnancy and motherhood was supposed to be pure bliss.
Every pregnancy is uniquely different from person to person, even between your own pregnancies. Whether it’s during pregnancy or postpartum, these symptoms can be unexpected and difficult to cope through. You may be finding it difficult to get tasks done at home or at work. Perhaps your self-care has plummeted, and you find yourself slowly distancing from other people. Everything just feels like it’s too much but you keep running on empty fuel because you have a family to take care of.
You can find your own version of bliss despite what you may be feeling or going through.
Experiencing a couple of these symptoms can be common within the perinatal period, but when they start to become more frequent and intense, your relationships and ability to function each day can suffer. I will support you through all the ups and downs that the perinatal period may bring. We will identify healthy ways to cope through the thoughts and feelings that are impacting your life, expand your support network, and discover what you value as most important to reconnect to a more fulfilling, meaningful life.
My Experience with Perinatal Mental Health
I am a member of and have received advanced training with Postpartum Support International (PSI). One of my specialties is working with moms through the perinatal period, specifically when facing symptoms related to prenatal/postpartum anxiety and depression. By merging my personal experiences during the perinatal period and my clinical training, I can understand what you are going through while guiding you to feel reconnected with yourself, your family, and what you value most.
