Our environment is filled with constant messages on how we should eat or what we should look like.

Media, social media, family, friends, and health providers can all play a major influence on how you view food or your body. It can be really discouraging sometimes, feeling like it’s impossible to fit society’s standards. Experiencing an unhealthy relationship with food and being critical of your body may start to impact your relationships, ability to focus or get tasks done, physical health, mood, energy levels, sleep, self-care and lower your self-esteem.

You can break free from these messages and build a healthy relationship with food and your body.

Treating symptoms related to an eating disorder often involves a team of professionals; including but not limited to a medical provider, therapist, registered dietitian, and psychiatrist (if needed). I consistently collaborate with your team to ensure holistic care and effective treatment. I support your wellbeing and recovery to live a life full of worth, meaning, and hope. We will explore what led to unhealthy eating patterns and work towards improving your relationship with food, body image, and most importantly… YOURSELF.
